Since 1973
Expanding on the family’s 50-year history, Walter A. Duda took on the challenge of starting a sod division in Oviedo, Florida, in the early 1970s. Since then, the business has flourished and our sod company has expanded to include sod farms in Cocoa and Lake Placid, Florida.
Today, Duda Sod focuses on growing quality varieties of turfgrass that thrive in Florida’s warm climate.
Capitalizing on the latest scientific research, we grow the most Florida friendly varieties available.
